Get ready for an evening of laughter, unforgettable music, and delightful theatrical chaos! Our talented Summer Youth Community Theater cast is thrilled to present The Drowsy Chaperone, a hilarious, Tony Award-winning musical that lovingly spoofs the glamorous musicals of the 1920s.

In just four incredible weeks, our dedicated cast and crew have worked tirelessly to bring this ambitious production to life. From dazzling dance numbers and show-stopping vocals to over-the-top comedy and unexpected surprises, these young performers have poured their hearts into every moment!

What to Expect

The story begins with a devoted musical theater fan who invites the audience into his apartment to listen to his favorite cast album. As the record begins to play, the characters spring to life around him, creating a wonderfully unpredictable musical full of mistaken identities, extravagant weddings, gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a glamorous Broadway star, a charming groom, and, of course, the delightfully drowsy chaperone herself. Filled with catchy songs, energetic choreography, and nonstop laughs, The Drowsy Chaperone is a joyful celebration of the magic of live theater.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the performance begins promptly at 7:00 PM.

A huge thank you to our incredible cast, production team, volunteers, and families who have made this production possible. In only four weeks, they have built sets, created costumes and props, mastered challenging choreography and music, and worked together to produce an entertaining evening of theater for our community.
